Fudjit - the Tap and Spile Archive

Back to Gallery

December 29th

The last Fudjit night of 2002. Paul came down from Stanley again, Outstanding Achievement certificates were awarded to Andy and Marty, and Irene finally made it to the stage.

December 15th

Two more Fudjit Virgins, Darren played everything in sight, and Mauro mimed Sultans of Swing (which is good because everyone else was playing Wishing Well).

December 8th

A good night again. The Original Stanley Fudjit reformed, Trev and someone whose name I can't remember gave us some cool acoustic jazz in the break, and Nicko promised not to mention cricket (so Audrey promised not to mention rugby). Ian's double-neck doesn't get any lighter.

November 24th

A fairly quiet night saw the return of an Angry Penguin, a Virgin performance from Josh, and Ian with more necks that you can shake a stick at (if that's your idea of a good time).

November 17th

No virgins, and not that many Fudjiteers, but Nicko the loud Strine came back, and Chris and Carol turned out some hairy blues.

November 10th

Tonight saw Gordon being versatile (Sex Pistols followed by the Police), the first antipodean Fudjiteer (he even plays his guitar umop apisdn), and Kenny's birthday. He certainly kept that quiet.

October 20th

Another busy night after a quiet start. The guys from UnLearn came again, we got Abba in the break, and two more Fudjiteers lost their virginities.

October 13th

A pretty good night again. A few more Fudjit Virgins, Sh*te in the interval, and nothing went disastrously wrong!

September 8th

No Virgins this week, but a busy night. Paul and John came down from Stanley, Pablo played while drunk, and the stage got a bit crowded.

September 1st

Quite a good night with Virgin performances from Lisa, Richard and Mick. Paul's band Straight Shooter played a few songs in the break, and everyone had fun.

August 18th

No Fudjit Virgins this week, but plenty of action. We also saw the start of a new category, 'Air Fudjit', featuring Marty and Dave.

August 4th

A busy night, with lots of people wanting a look in. The CK2 turned up again and offended everyone, Stan did the rounds of the guitars, and Fudjit went continental.

July 28th

This was a busy night. Quaker veteran Lee found us, the Matrix / CK5 lads turned up, and Chris pretty much dazzled on the bass. Also, say Hi to Paul's new bass cabinets (so I finally get my Laney back).

July 21st

Not many people in tonight (start of the holiday season). A few more Fudjit Virgins, poetry (non-Vogon) in the break, and we were treated to a bizarre drumming sight on 'Sympathy for the Devil'.

July 7th

Ooh, what a loud night! Even the drums seemed louder than normal, and they're not amplified (except by Spence hitting them harder). No Fudjit virgins this week, but Geoff and Joe from the Quaker found us in our new home, and Paul finally got his bass back from the Police's stolen property guys.

June 23rd

We seem to be settling in at the Tap. We've collected a few new regulars, and the Fudjit Virgins keep on coming.

June 16th

Another good night, with a couple more Fudjit virgins. Paul of the original Stanley Fudjit paid a call, Lynn was Comfortably Numb again, and we added a few totally new songs to the list.

June 9th

Fudjit's inaugural Tap and Spile night seemed to go fairly well. Martin became the Tap's first Fudjit virgin, we had two nice acoustic sessions, UnLearned did a couple (advertising their June 14th gig), and Marty wowed us all again with Delilah.
